I am Von, an Information Technology professional with extensive experience in agile workflow methodologies, entrepreneurship, product management, platform engineering, and foundational IT support garnered during service in the military. ‍ ‍

My formal coding journey began in 2017. Within months I transitioned from hobbyist experimentation—most notably creating a Smart Mirror on a Raspberry Pi—to a full‑time Software Engineer role at a fintech organization, where I contributed to mission‑critical financial applications.

Beyond engineering and IT, I am committed to STEM outreach. As a Girls Who Code instructor, I mentored high‑school students in foundational programming concepts, fostering the next generation of technologists. I also founded an augmented‑reality (AR) startup, directing product development, technical architecture, and go‑to‑market strategy.

Since 2021, I have been employed remotely by my current employer as a Software Developer, Business Analyst, and Product Manager. In these roles, I have adapted my responsibilities to encompass front-end development, business workflow automation, and DevOps (Development Operations) engineering.

Through these initiatives I have continuously expanded my expertise in contemporary business processes and cutting‑edge technology practices, positioning myself as a versatile engineer capable of bridging development, operations, and strategic objectives.

My diverse background blends disciplined leadership, hands‑on software development, and a forward‑looking passion for emerging technologies—positioning me to drive innovative solutions across dynamic environments.

Big Ideas,
Real Impact.

Along with my degrees and specializations, I also have software engineering coding boot camp experience, and entrepreneurship credentials from Rutgers University, WeWork, and N.Y.U. The picture above is one of the Pitch competitions I’ve attended pitching ideas and impact for a small business I co-founded.

I like to give back and stay up to date on the latest technical education. I have dedicated over 151 hours of volunteer work in Dubai, Thailand, New York, New Jersey, Louisiana, and Washington state, serving meals while providing hospitality. Giving back is a value cherished and provided through resources or a helping hand.

Outside of my career, I listen to music, workout, eat, and spend time with friends, associates, and loved ones.
